This month starts with some really great news for everyone. New Zealand’s border is now fully reopened to the rest of the world. Hopefully, this will present exciting opportunities to all of us to reconnect with the rest of the world.

New Zealand's border reopens 1 August 2022
|
|
The New Zealand border has now reopened, with student and visitor visa applications now open. The Maritime Border is also now open.
This is the final step in New Zealand’s plan to reconnect with the rest of the world.
Now that our borders are open, most border exceptions have closed.

|
|
Applicants will still need to meet New Zealand’s health border settings, including being fully vaccinated, and completing a New Zealand Traveller Declaration.
Applicants who are travelling from a visa waiver country will also be required to obtain a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA).
